The Ganduje Ward Executive Committee Members have distanced ithemselves from the plot to suspend the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

The party officials, which comprised Ward and Local Government Executive Council members disclosed this during a press conference addressed at the party’s secretariat in Kano on Monday.,saying that those addressed the press earlier in the day were impostors who have been discovered to be non members of the party at the Ganduje ward level.

The Chairman of the party, Ganduje Ward,, Kano State, Ahmed Mohammed Koko said: “Those who addressed the press conference were sponsored by the NNPP state government, and from the record of the party at the Ward, Local Government and State, are not card- carrying members of the APC”.

Mohammed added that, “The purported suspension is null and void, and would have no any effect on the National Chairman”.

He added that : “The Ward and Local Government Executives having identified the persons involved in this unfortunate situation, have already prepared to charge them to court for impersonation and calculated attempt to embarrass and dent the image of the Party and that of the National Chairman”.

He therefore called on all party members in the state and beyond to disregard the purported suspension and remain calm in the face of the ungortunate mischief once again perpetuated by the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the state.

Speaking also at the conference, the real Legal Adviser of the party at the Ward level, Haliru Gwanzo declared that he was impersonated by a mischievous character who was sponsored by the opposition party.

He swore by Allah that he knew nothing about the purpoŕed suspension of thr National Chairman of the party while declaring that he will take immediate legal action against the imposter who impersonated him.

He declared his absolute loyalty to the National Chairman of the APC and the party leadership as a whole.
