Elder Isaac Iseria Ukpebor, one of the founding members and President of the Elders Council, Nigeria Football Supporters Club is dead. He was also a member of the NFSC Board of Trustees.

According to the tribute signed by the National Chairman, Rev. Samuel Ikpea and the National Secretary-General, of the NFSC, Prince Victor Olowu, it was stated that, “we, members of the Board, executives and the general members of the club grieve over the departure of Elder Ukpebor”.

“We are saddened that we lost a patriotic gem that was not only passionate about his country but gave his all to the game of football.”

“Aside from describing the late Elder Ukepebor showed extraordinary love for football confraternity,” the statement regretted that Elder Ukpebor’s demise has created a big vacuum in the club.

Elder Ukpebor’s remains will be laid to rest in his country home at Iselu, Okaigben, Ewohimi in Edo state on Saturday April 6, 2024.

Similarly, the NFSC in addition has regretted the death of another Nigeria’s biggest fan, High Chief Angus Osondu Nwoye whose burial has been slated for April 6, 2024 at his compound in Amanuke, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

It will be recalled that the Late High Chief Nwoye passed on in Cote D’Ivoire during the Super Eagles semi final game against South Africa.
