For several families from across the Lagos metropolis, it was fun attending FAMFEST and making it this year’s biggest and most exciting family event.
Organised by Society for Performing Arts in Nigeria (SPAN) and held recently at Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, FAMFEST spanned two interactive days, celebrating family diversity and promoting values.
Major highlight of the event was Legendary, a captivating dance production honouring contemporary legends like historian and social enterprise consultant, Aduke Gomez, and Guinness World Record holder and dancer, Kafayat Kaffy Shafau.
Continuing the weekend’s excitement, the second day featured ‘Fallfest’ with live music by rock star, Dabyna, delicious treats, interactive games, and laughter. The event provided a joyous day for families to bond and partake in activities celebrating the importance of family values.
Mrs Sarah Boulos, festival’s convener, expressed her excitement about bringing FAMFEST to the community. She credited the event’s success to the support of Eko Hotels, Cool FM, Wazobia TV, 7UP Bottling Company, Indomie, ITB Construction, Leadway Assurance, and SCOA Nig. Plc.
