With eight years experience and a formidable reputation in his UK base, musician, producer, instrumentalist and deejay, Nwaka Olawale aka DJ Walz, is ready to take over the Afrobeats scene.
The eccentric crowd-pleasing DJ that specialises in Afrobeats, gospel, house, hip hop, R&B, old school garage, and 90’s/80’s party classics, emerges as one of the most vibrant talents in London, playing at big events and parties.
According to DJ Walz, he just dropped a new single, which he produced but mixed by his younger brother, Jaylon. The song, Berry features Afrobeats star, Rhymestar.
DJ Walz, who is also an entrepreneur, sheds more light on his musical activities and plans for Nigerian artistes. “I am committed to discovering and promoting young Nigerian Afrobeats artistes. My coming is to showcase what stuff I’m made of and I can tell you that I’ll leave an indelible mark. I am not competing with anybody but I respect Don Jazzy. I aspire to do better and take over the Afrobeats music scene,” he boasted.
