The Actors Guild of Nigeria, under the leadership of Dr Ejezie Emeka Rollas, has inaugurated various committees to form its kitchen cabinet for the International Festival slated to hold at Dreams Magic Studios, California, Los Angeles, USA on August 8-10, 2024.

Speaking at the inauguration held during the week at Silverbird Galleria, Lagos, Rollas, said the essence of the AGN International Festival is to provide a platform for film diplomatic activities, cultural exchange, sustainable creative and marketing collaboration between Nollywood and international film industry.

The AGN helmsman stated that the festival would ensure that everyone accesses the business opportunities in the film industry, as the body intends to witness a broader collaboration between filmmakers and actors to directly and indirectly benefit from the $26 billion global film industry.

“AGN International Festival also called ‘The Actors Market Place (TAMP)’ is a prominent platform to celebrate and showcase the diversity in Nollywood, especially the performers as we aspire to make the festival a powerful force to spotlight and showcase talents to the international producers, directors, studios, casting agencies, and raise the awareness of the creative impact of Nollywood to the world,” Rollas reiterated.

The kitchen cabinet members include Ifeoma Okeke-Ozzoude, Agility Onwurah, Kelvin Ovo, Alex Okoroji, Deyemi Okanlawon, Femi Durojaiye, Steve Ebony, Rita Dominic, Nancy Isime, and Tracy Edwin.
