With a razzmatazz of melodious musical reminiscence, nostalgia and sonorous delivery, dexterous entertainer, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as Dbanj, on Friday, celebrated his 20 years of musical excellence on stage. 

 

The celebration was marked at TRACE Live, a premium, unique, intimate and interactive musical event that showcases African music, graced by Africa’s finest musical talents.

 

The event witnessed a nostalgic recollection of beautifully crafted musical renditions from the ‘Tongolo’ crooner.

 

Celebrating two decades of musical brilliance, the self-styled ‘Koko Master brought down the house at the Terra Kulture Arena. From his early hits to his latest music releases, fans commemorated the journey of the legendary artist, marking his milestone in Nigerian music history.

 

The red-carpet interview was hosted by comedian and skit maker Lasisi Elenu, with personalities like BBN star Erica Nlewedim gracing the red carpet and sharing their expectations for the show.

 

There was also a comedy performance from “Pencil the Comedian” and a music performance from “Reekado Banks”. The event was also graced with personalities like Larry Gaaga, Bankuli, LAX and many others who came to support the legend.

Apart from entertaining the crowd with his music, D’banj took to the stage to perform his new track “Taya” alongside his feature on the song, “Specikinging.” He also made announcements regarding the release of his upcoming singles,

“Seriously” featuring Chuchulee, and “Since ‘04” by himself as well as his upcoming album titled “The Entertainer: The Sequel.”

 

Recall that a legal firm, Law Corridor, had in a statement on Wednesday, congratulated the ‘Koko Master’ on the laudable career milestone.
