Italian Serie A club, Torino have started working on a deal to sign Nigeria defender, Ola Aina on a permanent basis when the winter transfer window opens for business in January 2019.
Signed on a season-long loan from Chelsea in August 2018, The Maroons have been impressed with the performance of the versatile fullback, so much so that they are prepared to activate his purchase clause before the end of the 2018-19 season.
According to Calciomercato, making reference to Tuttosport, Chelsea inserted a ten million euros (approximately N4.05 billion in Nigerian currency) purchase clause into their agreement with Torino before Ola Aina was sent on loan.
The Super Eagles star extended his contract with The Blues until the end of the 2020-2021 campaign prior to his transfer to Torino.
Apart from the 2-2 draw with Bologna, Aina has been involved in all the matches played by Torino so far this season, logging 734 minutes.
The former England U19 skipper has been on the books of Chelsea for eleven years.
