Barely a week after Tiwa Savage and Wizkid set the Internet on fire with their latest video, Fever (Stew), the singing mother of one is back in the news again.
Last Sunday in far away Bilbao, Spain, Tiwa set a new record by becoming the first African female artiste to win the MTV EMA’s Best African Act of the Year award. Indeed, it was a joyous moment for Tiwa, who went online and gushed over her new trophy, with super model, Naomi Campbell and Wizkid congratulating her for the achievement.

Ever since she bounced back last year with a hit single, All Over, it has been accolade after accolade for Tiwa Savage. Another chartbuster, Ma Lo featuring Wizkid also won her rave reviews and established her and Starboy as an ‘item’ in the industry.
Now, the icing on the cake is her MTV EMA’s Best African Act award.
