“Our choice of Ike Keke, was obviously in tandem with the mood of the generational shift. One very clear thing is that those who were the creators of the problem of Nigeria would not be part of the solution.

“Therefore, the choice before Nigerians in 2019 is either to continue with the old order which has inflicted pains and misery on them, made Nigeria a laughing stock in the comity of nations or participate in the movement that would herald the expected socioeconomic transformation.”

Meanwhile, Keke, in his remarks, appreciated the party leadership as well as delegates for giving him the opportunity to fly the party’s flag in the 2019 presidential election.

He promised to leverage on the party structures to mobilize support and youths for a movement that would restore the lost glory of Nigeria.

He said, “We have a roadmap for a new Nigeria. We understand the problems of Nigeria and we have been carefully studied, researched and consulted on all levels to produce the best team of leaders and government for Nigeria.”

He promised to run a transparent and all inclusive government that would work with local and international communities, to uproot corruption and promote unity, diversity and individuality.
