• Says Tinubu admin working towards putting smiles on faces of Nigerians

The lawmaker representing Gbonyin/Aiyekire constituency at the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon (Princess) Adeteju Okuyiga, has put smiles on the faces of her constituents as she distributed food stuffs worth millions of naira and cash gifts to them for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Okuyiga who promised to continue to show love to her people said the gesture was a way of giving back to her constituents who gave her the mandate to represent them, restating she will always prioritise their welfare.

The aged, widows and vulnerable persons were among the beneficiaries of the rice, cash gifts and other items donated by the lawmaker.

As part of the yuletide celebrations, she hosted her constituents, political leaders and representatives of different tribes in her constituency to a party at Aisegba-Ekiti, her country home.

At the function, the lawmaker admonished the people to thank God for the gift of life and the opportunity to see the end of the year. While noting that the yuletide was not without its challenges, she urged them to thank God for overcoming the challenges.

She urged them to continue to pray and support the Governor of the state, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), saying “his government has shown that there will be light at the end of the tunnel in Ekiti State.”

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain urged the people of Ekiti State and Nigerians not to lose hope in the Nigerian project and the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration in the country.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will eventually put smiles on your faces again in not too distant time.”

“The hardship of today which is as a result of so many factors will not last for a long time.”
