Chibuzor Ositadinma Ukandu, also known as Chipsoniano, is making waves in the car rental industry with his innovative brand, Secured Wheels. As the founder of Secured Wheels, Osita has successfully positioned his business as a 5-star hospitality service, offering chauffeur-driven, self-drive car rental, and luxury transfer services in Lagos, Abuja, and Johannesburg, South Africa.
Born and raised in Lagos, his entrepreneurial spirit was nurtured by his family, who owned the successful family business, Dona Pedro Agencies. During his time with his family’s business, he learned the art of negotiation and the ins and outs of the business world, which ignited his passion for entrepreneurship.
Speaking recently during a press engagement, he revealed his love for technology and the digital space, which aided the launch of Secured Wheels as a way to provide affordable rental services in a luxurious style.
“My goal has always been to offer reliable transport options at short notice, creating a 5-star experience for clients”, he said “Secured Wheels started as a third-party outsourcing business, outsourced jobs, and vehicles until the first quarter of 2021 when we secured long-term contracts to supply and maintain vehicles for companies in Lagos and Port Harcourt”.
Despite facing initial challenges, Osita’s determination and dedication to his vision led him to success. He also had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Oghenekaro Akarue, a renowned business mogul, who became a client and later invited Osita to join his company, Ethan Media, as a director.
Recalling, he stated that the partnership provided the financial support and resources needed for him to expand the Secured Wheels fleet and establish a strong presence in the car rental industry.
On how his company ensure transparency and find balance in the rental industry, he added: “At Secured Wheels, we ensure a reliable and enjoyable experience for all clients. We stand out by combining real luxury and affordability”.
His passion for entrepreneurship and dedication to providing exceptional service has shaped him into the leader he is today. He further revealed that he draws inspiration from his father, who mentored him in business, and looks up to figures like Sean Combs, Tony Elumelu and Adewunmi, Director at Truth Beach Lagos.
As Secured Wheels continues to grow and gain recognition in the industry, Osita and his team remain committed to exceeding customer expectations and driving innovation in the car rental sector.
