President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. George Akume, emphasized the crucial role of unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the North Central Zonal Stakeholders Meeting held in Lafia on Saturday.

Tinubu in his remarks urged stakeholders and members to prioritize unity to propel the party forward, stating, “We need to maintain unity of purpose, unity of brothers and sister for the progress of our party and the country at large.”

Acknowledging the proactive efforts of North Central governors in implementing projects for their constituents, Tinubu solicited continuous support and prayers from stakeholders, APC members, and Nigerians to ensure the success of his administration. He reaffirmed his commitment to providing infrastructure and implementing policies aimed at enhancing the lives of Nigerians.

APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, highlighted the party’s reforms, including the introduction of e-registration for party members, to ensure accurate data and strengthen party cohesion. Ganduje commended the invitation extended by Gov. Abdullahi Sule and North Central APC leaders for the zonal meeting, emphasizing the importance of unity for the party’s development and national progress.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, serving as the North Central APC Coordinator, highlighted the meeting’s objective to address pertinent issues and foster the party’s growth. He urged stakeholders and party members to unite and build a formidable North Central Zone, emphasizing collective effort for progress.

Governors Abdullahi Sule, Usman Ododo, and Hyacinth Alia of Nasarawa, Kogi, and Benue States, respectively, echoed the call for unity among APC members, emphasizing the party’s significance in driving national development. They urged members to prioritize the party’s interests for the betterment of Nigeria.

Additionally, key figures such as Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, Rep. Idris Wase, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim, and Minister of Police Affairs (State), Hon. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, among others, reiterated the importance of focus and unity to elevate the party to greater heights. They emphasized the collective responsibility of all members in advancing the party’s agenda.
