THE purported election of Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah as the chairman, Anambra State Football Association on Tuesday has deepened the crisis that had bedeviled the state FA for some years now, as some stakeholders and candidates yesterday described it as a sham and an illegality.

Ubah was reported to have been elected State FA chairman in the early hours of Tuesday in a hotel room in Awka, an action some stakeholders described as an insult to the sensibility of the members of the association and Anambra State at large.
