Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Civil Service Commission, Emeka Ezeh, has described President Bola Tinubu as a detribalised Nigerian.

Speaking at a reception organised in his honour by Alor Development  Union (ADU), Lagos branch, Ezeh, former director general of Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) under the administration of former president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, called on Nigerians to support Tinubu because he means well and was working tirelessly to make Nigeria a great nation.

He also commended ADU members that came in their numbers to honour him and thanked them for their continuation of the struggle for a better Alor community.

“I want to express my deep appreciation to ADU members under the leadership of Edwin Udoagwa for the honour being done to me today. I also want to commend the members of Alor Progressives for the wonderful work they are doing. Leadership is not about suppressing people. Rather, it is about lifting people. I want to appeal to all Alor indigenes in Lagos to be law-abiding and of good behaviour. I am committed to the development and progress of Alor and will continue to contribute my own quota towards this noble exercise,” he said.

In his welcome address, Udoagwa said they are happy for who Ezeh has become and what he has being doing for Alor people in particular and Nigeria in general from when he was the president of Nigeria Society of Engineers, a member of Vision 2010, director general of Bureau of Public Procurement and now that he is the pioneer chairman of Federal Capital Territory Civil Service Commission.

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the Exemplary Human Development Award to Ezeh for his exemplary and meritorious service to Nigeria and humanity.
