REDAN is a professional body of real estate developers recognised by the Federal Government and saddled with the responsibility of providing affordable housing in the country.

Andrew lucky Elerewe is the Chairman/CEO, AIBEN Investment & Properties Ltd, which has over 15 Housing Estates spread across three states: Lagos, Abuja and Katsina. He has Built over 500 housing units for Katsina State government and also hostels at the American University, Eket, Akwa Ibom State.

He is a real estate practitioner with over 14 years of entrepreneurship experience.

Under his watch the firm AIBEN developed an 18 hectares estate in Lekki-Ajah-Epe expressway worth N15 billion.

Going by insider sources, He want to change the way government sees developers; and want government to see them as strategic partners, not just as people who are just concerned about making profit. He believes that real estate developers has common objective in terms of providing housing; government has the basic responsibility of providing shelter which he believes is the basic responsibility of a responsible government.

To him just as Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, was transform through real estate which was being driven by the private sector. He plans engaging Nigerian government that way at all levels and letting them come to that realisation and of course making them see how it is done in other climes.

One of it’s members of REDAN, said he (Andrew lucky) was elected because he is particularly daily driven by its vision to position the country among the leading Pan-African real estate development countries that will provide the highest number of decent, accessible, comfortable, and affordable houses while achieving global housing standards. His ultimate goal is to secure suitable housing for everyone irrespective of social and economic class which actually alien with our vision.

The New elected chairman is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife and Metropolitan School of Business and Management, U.K, Andy is a member of several professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Project Managers (CIPM).

He has held senior leadership positions and also served as Board Member, Gymnastic Federation of Nigeria, Member, National Association of Home Builders, Member, Chartered Institute of Housing, UK, Member, Board of Trustees, National Asphalt Pavement Association.
