Prince Audu’s Eid-el-Kabir message was conveyed in a statement made available by his Special Assistant on Media, Lizzy Okoji, on Sunday in Abuja.

The Minister further urged Nigerians and Muslim faithful to reflect on the sacrifices and acts of obedience of Prophet Ibrahim, who trusted in Almighty Allah (SWT) even at his most trying time, and the rewards afterwards, noting that the sacrifices and trials we are going through as a nation will yield positive results soon, thus ushering in dividends of democracy, good governance, and a better life for all citizens as envisaged by the robust policies and bold reform programmes of the President.

He further called on Nigerians not to relent in their prayers for the nation, stressing the need for patriotism as well as the importance of working together in peace, unity, and harmony for the development of the nation, noting that the electioneering season is over and now is the time for nation-building and good governance irrespective of political, ethical and/or religious divides.

The Minister also reiterated his commitment to delivering on his mandate of reviving the steel industry in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which is geared at growing the economy to over $1 trillion by 2031 as well as creating millions of job opportunities for Nigerians, especially the youth, thus making Nigeria a global investment destination, among other initiatives.

“On behalf of myself, my family, and the entire staff of the Federal Ministry of Steel Development, I wish the President and Nigerians a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration,” Prince Audu stated.
