National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) has encouraged President Bola Tinubu to remain focused and stay on course in his vision for Nigeria even in the midst of hydra economic situation upsetting the country.

The President/Chairman of Council of the Institute, Mr. Idorenyen Enang, gave this advice when he addressed journalists at the Institute’s secretariat in Ikeja, ahead of its annual conference, annual general meeting, symposium and investiture of new members, to be held in Ibadan from 20th to 22nd of June, 2024.

Themed ‘Empowering Nigerian Brands: Leveraging Local Contents for Global Success,’ the NIMN President maintained that the programmes would be second to none as processionals in the marketing space drawn across the globe are set to dissect critical issues of national interest like local content and Intellectual Property (IP) among other discourses.

“This year’s programme is about empowering Nigerian brands, focusing on local contents and Intellectual Property(IP), and you know that local contents cannot be driven without understanding Intellectual Property. For a country to attain global success, its IP level must be huge and the country must recognize that and harness it maximally.
