English Premier League strugglers, Southampton has agreed to pay 18 million pounds for the services of in-demand Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu.

The 28-year-old will sign a three-and-half-year contract with the Saints on the January transfer deadline day.

The 6ft’7 forward has had a top season so far, 17 goals in 18 league games. The striker is keen on moving to the club and Southampton has had a €21 million (£18.5m) bid accepted by the Belgian club.

The Nigeria international, who made 18 appearances for the Super Eagles, would become the club’s fourth signing of the January transfer window after James Bree, Mislav Orsic and Carlos Alcaraz all signed earlier in the window.
