The Director General of the South East Governors Forum, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has described the two years stewardship of Governor Chukwuma Soludo as impactful to the people of Anambra State.

Ekwunife stated this on behalf of the South East Governors while celebrating the Governor’s two year stay in office via a statement made available to newsmen on Monday.

Ekwunife listed the achievements of the former Central Bank Governor describing them as remarkable in various sectors, especially road infrastructure.

According to the former Senate Committee Chairman on Science and Technology Soludo’s achievements are not only commendable, but worthy of emulation.

Anambra State Ekwunife expressed “can now boast of having a robust framework for effective development of the state through your administrative ingenuity”.

The immediate past governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, extends his warm congratulations to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his remarkable two years in office as Governor of Anambra.

The statement read partly; “Viable schemes and reforms in education, youth empowerment programs (“one youth, two skills initiative”), and health sector interventions, including employment of five thousand teachers and the ongoing move to employ another three thousand for public schools are very notable achievements.

“Again, your insight and resourcefulness in the distribution of 20,000 computer laptops to head teachers / principals of public schools across the state are equally very commendable achievements, and by extension, a boost to the development plans of the SouthEast region.

“As you mark this productive two years anniversary in office, our thoughts and prayers are with you in view of advancing our democracy and delivering more dividends that meet the expectations of Ndi Anambra.”
