Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has called for an urgent review of the nation’s policing and security architecture, saying Nigeria cannot continue with a dysfunctional structure that has obvious room for improvement.

He said more far-reaching structural reforms need to be done in security management.

Sanwo-Olu made the remarks yesterday, in Lagos, at the 16th Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security with the Governor. He said the state government’s security policy is driven by the need for a wholly secured environment that enables the well-being, prosperity and fulfilment of residents.
