The reinstated Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi has arrived the ancient city of Kano.
Daily Sun gathered that the monarch who was only yesterday returned to his throne by the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf,, was privately recieved this morning at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano.
He was subsequently driven from the airport to the Government House, where he was temporary lodged at a Guest House behind the main building.
Daily Sun observed that as at press time, efforts were being made to assemble the palace guards to his lodge as they are supposed to fire gun powered shots into the air signifying the arrival of the New Emir.
In the meantime, the African House Wing of the Government House is agog with activities preparatory to the unveiling of the New Emir.and the presentation of his letter of appointment.
In attendance at the ceremony already are members of the Kano Executive Council, the kingmakers of the Kano Emirate Council and a sundry of district heads
