Plateau State Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in Plateau and across the nation on the successful completion of the 2024 Ramadan Fast.

In a goodwill message, signed by the Director of Press and Public Affairs Gyang Bere, Mutfwang rejoiced with the Muslim faithful and commended their dedication to selfless sacrifices, self-denial, and spiritual renewal. He encouraged them to embody the essence of Ramadan by advocating for good manners, humility, kindness, and charitable deeds towards the less privileged, both during and beyond the fasting period.

He emphasized the importance of integrating the virtues of Islam into daily life and urged them to reflect on the lessons of Ramadan and urged them to be good ambassadors of Plateau and the nation at large.

He called on the Muslim community to embrace love, peace, and unity in order to foster a more cohesive state admired by all. Governor Mutfwang reassured citizens of his administration’s steadfast commitment to addressing the current security and economic challenges, adding that priority is being accorded to the welfare of all Plateau citizens.

The governor expressed hope that Plateau State will be restored as a peaceful haven and a tourism hub. Governor Mutfwang called for continued prayers for the country’s leaders and the peace of both Plateau and Nigeria.
