Fast rising producer, Sadiq Sule, has raised his filmmaking bar with his latest movie, Misery Lane.

Undoubtedly, Sule is gradually becoming a force to reckon with in the movie industry, even as some observers in Nollywood suggested that his movies are capable of setting new standards for moviemakers in the country.

Misery Lane, a two-cast action-packed horror film, stars Yvonne Jegede and Keira Hewatch, as they battle to stay alive in a horrific situation.

Speaking about the project that has once again illustrated his unrivaled influence in the entertainment industry, Sule, who is also the brain behind movies like Neighbour, Somewhere In The North, His Romantic Majesty and more, disclosed that shooting the movie was a major leap in his career, with its being nominated for Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.

“Misery Lane was recently nominated for Best Special Effects Film at the 2017 BON Awards. Shooting of the movie was challenging and difficult, but at the end, I gave myself and the team kudos for coming up with a great production regardless of the setbacks we had,” he said.

Sadiq Sule was also nominated for Next Rated Director at the forthcoming Nigerian Achievers Awards.
