Veteran journalist and prose craftsman, Mr. Ray Ekpu, has joined the array of prolific writers, analysts and informed commentators in Nigeria’s fastest-selling and most widely- read newspaper, The Sun.
Beginning from tomorrow, Ekpu, a co-founder of Newswatch and former chief executive officer/editor-in-chief of the nation’s pioneer news magazine, will bring to our teeming readers, in his inimitable style, rigorous and profound thoughts on wide range of contemporary issues on Nigeria, Africa and the world.
Ekpu was editor of Nigerian Chronicle, Sunday Times, Business Times and Chairman, Editorial Board of Concord Group of Newspapers. In 1987, he was named International Editor of the Year. He is a fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors.
