The Accident and Investigation Bureau (AIB) says it has commenced a special training for the Nigerian Police on how to secure aircraft parts and the site in case of an accident so that vital evidences that would assist investigators are not tampered with or destroyed.

The AIB who described the Police as one of the first emergency and security institution found at air accident site lamented that unlike in order countries, the Nigerian Police lacked the basic training to handle air accidents crisis.
