The leadership of the Muslim Ummah in Plateau State have passed a vote of confidence on the State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang.

The Muslim community said that this is stemmed from the cordial relationship between the governor the Muslim Ummah, which had resulted in the appointment of Muslims into various positions of authority in the six months old Mutfwang administration.

Speaking at a press briefing in Jos on Thursday, the spokesman, Mubarak Isa, said this ran contrary to insinuations that the relationship between the governor, the government and the Muslim community is less than savoury.

According to him, “We have come before you this day all the leadership of Muslim Ummah from all parts of Plateau state to pass a vote of confidence on the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang on his six months unprecedented achievements.

“This governor and government have shown that the dividends of democracy can reach the common man from the first day in office. The Caleb Mutfwang led “The Time is Now” administration has displayed the spirit of oneness, brotherhood and development.
