…donate seats ,learning materials and 150k to schools

In a bid to lessen the financial burden of parents, a Engr Chukwuemeka Victor Jr founder of View Foundation has paid for the common enterance examination fees for 29 pupils of primary schools in Umuonyeukwu community in Ikeduru council area of Imo state.
The Foundation also donated seats ,books, mathematical sets and N150,000 to three of the primary schools in the community.
The Exectuive Director/ Founder of the Foundation, Engr Chukwuemeka Victor Anyanwu Jr, said that focus of the Foundation is to create a conducieve learning environment for the pupils and to make learning a fun for primary school pupils in the community.
Anyanwu Jr, who is a US based Engineer made the donations as part of the activities marking the second anniversary of the Foundation held at St Mary’s primary,Umuonyeukwu community in Ikeduru council area of Imo state.
He said, ” Our major focus is creating conducieve learning environment for primary school pupils in the community. We trying to facilitate a better learning environment. The classrooms now have seats, dry erase boards, books, mathematical sets and we have also paid 10,000 Naira each for 29 of the pupils from three of the schools in the community for their common Entrance Examination to lessen the financial burden on their parents.
He added, ” We have also given N150,000 each to three of the schools to motivate their teachers . The schools are St Mary’s primary school, Salvation primary school and Brilliant Kids . So, what we are doing today is to let them know the importance of education and to have fun . As you can the kids are having fun today as we have provided them with games and food, and drinks. Last year was the kick off and this year is the second anniversary. And, our major goal is facilitating good learning environment to make children see learning as fun and and not a chore. I am from this community we have to let them know we care for their future. We are going to make it bigger next year God’s willing “.
Commending the Foundation, the Assistant Headmistress of St Mary’s primary school Umuonyeukwu, Mrs Ugonna Udogu who spoke on behalf of the others ,disclosed that last year the Foundation had given each of the three primary schools N100,000 and that the foundation had also shared school bags , mathematical sets and books to all the pupils of the three primary schools within the community.
Mrs Udogu said , ” They were here last year. They gave each of the three primary schools in Umuonyeukwu community N100,000 each . The Foundation shared school bags to all the pupils, mathematical sets, provided dry erase boards and books . This year they have donated more seating desks for the kids.
We are happy for what they are doing for the schools . This young man, Chukwuemeka Anyanwu Jr has the interest of the pupils at heart and his action has increased the number of pupils who are now are interested in coming to school.” She submitted.
Also, Chief Victor Anyanwu Sr, father of the Founder of the Foundation commended his son for his thoughtfulness for remembering his community, and trying to create good learning environment for the pupils of the community schools.
” He started this last year and his focus has been on how to improve the learning environment for the pupils in the community schools . He has sustained the vision and hopefully that of 2025 will be better.”
