…Laud Tinubu over reappointment
Federal Pensioners under the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) have applauded President Bola Tinubu over the reappointment of Dr Chioma Nnena Ejikeme as its Executive Secretary.
The pensioners believe that her reappointment is a confirmation of hard work, dedication and the numerous innovations to addressing the plight of the federal retirees all over the country.
In a statement in Abuja, signed by the National Public Relations Officer, Federal Pensioners, Comrade Felix Ajoku, urged the newly appointed PTAD to consolidate on her past successes and ensure all pension arrears are cleared.
“We wish to commend President Bola Tinubu for the reappointment of Dr Chioma Nnena Ejikeme as the Executive Secretary of PTAD for a second tenure.
“We believe that her appointment is a confirmation of hard work, dedication and the numerous innovations she had introduced to the PTAD.
“In last tenure, she ensured the payment of backlog of oension arrears of pensioners under the Civil Service Pension Department arising from the output of the national verification of 2015-2017.
Comrade Ajoku further enumerated other successes achieved by Dr Ejikeme as the full liquidation of pension liabilities of the defunct agencies like the new Nigerian Newspapers, NICON Insurance, Nitel/Mtel, Delta Steel Company among others.
Also in a remark, a national leader of the Federal Pensioners, Comrade Danladi Mark Gogo said the reappointment of Dr Ejikeme was the best thing to have happened to the Nigerian pensioners under PTAD.
