From Lateef Dada, Osogbo
Pandemonium broke in Osogbo, Osun State, Thursday morning, as a van conveying prisoners to court hit an intracity minibus.
Findings showed that the correctional van attempted to maneuver and bit the traffic light when it rammed into the minibus and hit it.
It was gathered that the driver of the minibus and a woman were rushed to the Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, having sustained leg and head injuries.
The situation caused pandemonium as sympathizers accused the operative of the correctional center of driving against the traffic.
Our correspondent who followed the minibus drivers to the court observed that leaders of the union of minibus drivers stormed the state high court, Okefia, but they were prevented from entering the gate.
