Oluseye Ojo, Ilesa

The Onifofin of Ifofin, Chief Ezekiel Daramola, has commended the governorship poll held in Ilesa, Osun State.

In an interview with Sunday Sun, he stated that it was the first time election would be so peaceful in Ifofin, Ogbon-Orogbo and in other parts of Ilesa, based on reports he received from other parts of Ilesa.

He said the community has not had it so good as an attempt was made during the 2014 governorship poll to steal ballot boxes, but was vehemently resisted by the community. He further noted that June 12, 1993 presidential poll was the last time election was so peaceful in the area.
