Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will arrive Owerri, the Imo State capital, on Saturday, on a two-day working visit.

While in the state, Osinbajo is expected to commission some projects including the Nigeria Air force Hospital, City Primary School located at the former Fire Service Station, the New Nigeria Union of Journalists ultra-modern secretariat, the Nigeria Labour Congress House, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Headquarters, and the Imo International Exhibition Centre, among others built by the present administration.

But before that, the Vice President is expected to pay a courtesy call to the state chairman of traditional rulers council, Eze Samuel Ohiri, in his palace where he will proceed to a town Hall meeting with traditional rulers and other stakeholders.

Prof. Osinbajo will equally attend the governor’s birthday celebration organised by the Rochas Foundation as a Special Guest of Honour. There he will also deliver a lecture.

The Vice President will also be mounting the rostrum, on Sunday, at the Government House Victory Chapel to deliver a sermon. Many Church leaders will be in attendance, while there will be prayers for the peace of the nation.
