One year in office:  Business Tycoon urges governor Otti to develop Abia best State in Nigeria

As the Abia State governor, Dr. Alex Otti prepares to celebrate one year in office, a business Tycoon and political analyst,  Mazi Ifeanyi V. Lekwauwa has urged the governor to build and make the State the best among other States in the country in terms of economic and infrastructural development.

In a statement on Friday, Mazi Lekwauwa said, “I urge you to continue to build Abia State as the best  state in the South -East and in Nigeria as a whole for more sustainable developments in terms of rapid and mega economic development”.

The statement said the celebration should be double edge because of

 the last governorship election victory and the celebration of one year anniversary in office in piloting the affairs of the State for the betterment of the people.

According to the statement, “The celebrations from the governorship election and the massive infrastructural development in the last one year is a confirmation of the perfect will of God and of the refutable choice of the people of Abia State in the person of Dr. Alex Otti. The State has indeed witnessed rapid development, especially in the areas of peace, security, education, and healthcare since your assumption of office.

“Yes, it is time for Abia State people from all political parties and all ethnic sub-groups living in Abia state to rise up and support our God Ordained Governor.

“It is obvious that you have put in a lot of hard work, dedication, and perseverance to deserve your victory at the last governorship election to pilot the affairs of Abia State. Your  Excellency, your victory is a sign that you are indeed the popular choice of the peace loving people of Abia State.

“Indeed, your victory and declaration as the Governor of Abia State is divinely ordained thus, the continuous growth of Abia State and her citizens are assured in a prosperous city under your divine leadership.

“Your achievements in the last one year is a remarkable testimony that Abia State will grow in leaps and bounds and attain more heights under your watch/governance in the next three years of your tenure. in infrastructural development, security, and cooperate co- existence among different ethnic groups living in Abia State.

“As you are aware sir, the expectations of Abia citizens are high in the areas of security, women empowerment, youth development and peaceful co-existence while praying to God to shower you with more grace and wisdom to deliver all your campaign promises.

“Your Excellency, the spontaneous jubilation on the streets and all the nooks and crannies of Abia State as a result of your victory at the last polls and your performance since you assumed office  eloquently be speaks the fact that you are the choice of the people.

“As you celebrate your one year in office, we wish you the best and pray that God will continue to guide, protect, inspire and uphold you in the remaining years of your tenure and beyond”.
