National Publicity Secretary of the Niger/Delta Youths Movement, Prince Adeola Ikuesan has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his victory at the last governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ikuesan in a statement released on Friday described the victory of Aiyedatiwa as a well deserved one, stressing that his achievements since assumption of office are indications that he will do well again.
He urged the people of the state to support Governor Aiyedatiwa in the November governorship election for the dividends of democracy currently being experienced in the state to continue.
He said “I am confident that your victory will re-energize the progressive ideals of our great party, the APC. As you embark on this historic journey I wish to assure you of my commitment to your success at the polls and ultimately look forward to providing the necessary support to ensure that we develop a prosperous state.”
Also, he commended the Kogi State Governor and chairman of the primary election committee, Mr Usman Ododo and members of his committee for doing a good job.
He said the transparent manner at which the primary election was conducted was commendable.
Ikuesan also called on other governorship aspirants to bury the hatchet and work for the interest of the party so that the APC can emerge victorious in the governorship election come November.
He stressed the need for all the leaders and members of the party to be united and work together for the success of the party in the next governorship election in the interest of the party and the overall development of the state.
