Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has commenced construction of the first Nigeria Arc of Triumph monument in Iwo, his country home.

The first country monument under construction in Iwo is solely sponsored by Oluwo is situated at the round about, the heart of the ancient city.

Oluwo stated his commitment to maintaining and upgrading public facilities is to register my position as example in serving humanity.

The monarch enjoined Nigerians most especially his immediate subjects in Iwo to emulate his leadership style for the interest and betterment of the populace.

When completed, the monument will serve as tourist attraction of international grade and a cynosure of interest to the community of which the citizens could be proud of.

The old round about structure has been demolished as the arc is already under construction.
