The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says that 34 ships are being expected to bring petroleum products, food and other goods from Nov. 7 to  Nov. 24 at the Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports in Lagos.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that seven of the ships will sail in with petrol while eight are bringing general cargo.

According to the Shipping Position of the NPA, 12 of the ships will sail in with containers, carrying various goods.

Seven of the ships are also carrying buckwheat, empty containers, diesel and bulk sugar.

The Shipping Position also indicated that 12 ships had since arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, buckwheat, bulk gas, containers and petrol.
