“We took a major risk and got condemned for it and we’re told the movie will not go far. I bet you know the rest of the story today. Stop looking for validation from people and seek God’s face. If you feel it is the right thing to do, do it. If you fail, you will learn something new but whatever the case, you will feel fulfilled for following your heart.”

Just Not Married was nominated for Best Director (Uduak Obon-Patrick), Best Screenplay (Lani Aisida), Best Lead Actor (Stan Nze), Best Lead Actress (Judith Audu), Best Supporting Actor (Rotimi Salami), Best Editing (Oluseyi Asurf), Best Cinematographer (Fayo Festus), Most Promising Actor (Rotimi Salami), and Best Comedy categories.
