The Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) has congratulated the new Sports Minister, Senator John Enoh on his appointment.
In a statement signed by its President General, Dr. Rafiu Oladipo, the club welcomes the minister to the most popular and talked about ministry.
Dr. Oladipo enjoined Senator Enoh to take into consideration that sports gives Nigeria a positive image across the world.
“Let me start by congratulating the honourable minister as he assumes office as the 36th Minister of Sports. As partners in progress, the Nigeria Football Supporters Club is after the success of the minister, by extension Nigerian sports without exemption and we are ready to make him achieve his goal.”
“However, Senator Enoh needs to surround himself with people who are genuinely interested in sports development. He needs technocrats to give him direction on how to improve our sports,” Dr. Oladipo stressed.
He added that Nigeria’s sports as of now, need a re-engineering that will make Nigeria become one of the best sporting nations in the world, stressing the club is pledging its support in this direction.
He equally urged the new minister to bring permanent peace to all sporting federations and also give attention to all sports.
