This year’s edition of Nigerian Electronic Media Content Exhibition and Awards (NEMCEA), which held at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos from August 22-24, 2023, witnessed stakeholders and experts proffering solutions to the challenges of broadcast media in Nigeria.

Like it happened last year, Days 1 and 2 of the event were dedicated to the opening ceremony, conferences/panel sessions, featured sessions/workshops, and exhibition of the best of Nigerian content and programmes from radio, TV, and online space. Day 3 was a night of glitz and glamour set aside to reward content creation excellence

In her welcome address, president, Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN), Mrs Jibe Ologeh, who was represented by her deputy, Theophilus Akatugba, described NEMCEA as a three-pronged event consisting of content exhibition, conferences and awards, therefore, “it’s imperative to continue adding value to the industry through the event.”
