Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), has opened bid for air carriers and ground handlers as a pre-qualification process for participation in the 2024 pilgrimage exercise to Israel and Jordan.

NCPC spokesman, Celestine Toruka, in a statement, on Monday, noted that the NCPC Executive Secretary, Bishop Stephen Adegbite superintended over the exercise at the NCPC headquarters, in Abuja.

The bidding process was also graced by strategic stakeholders, including observers from civil society organizations, officials from House of Representatives Committee on Christian Pilgrims Affairs, as well as service providers from Israel, Jordan, Turkey and Nigerian Companies and partners.

He promised the participants that due bidding process will follow due process, stressing that neither the Commission nor any of its official will do anything that would contravene the procurement Act of 2007.

The NCPC boss told the participants that the Federal Government has very good confidence in the leadership of NCPC, hence it will do everything possible to see that, not only that justice is done but justice is seems to have been done.

Bishop Adegbite further noted that this year’s pilgrimage will be known as “renewed hope and satisfaction”, promising that the Commission, Pilgrims and partners would be satisfied at the end of the exercise.
