A house of representatives candidate for Akwanga, Wamba and Nasarawa Eggon, federal constituency, Patrick Adigizi, has offered free medical services to over 500 person in Nasarawa.

The free medical care took place at the weekend at General Hospital, Akwanga, in Nasarawa State.

Adigizi, who is contesting for house of representatives under Accord Party, said the outreach was to complement what he has been doing to improve the conditions of the people.

The philanthropist who said the outreach has no political, religious or tribal undertone, explained that over 60 medical personnel ranging from Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists and Lab Technicians were engaged for the one day exercise.

Adigizi, who is a full time business man also explained that some medical challenges discovered during the outreach were treated free of charge.

The lead Doctor, Philip Audu, Tanko, said over 60 Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists and Lab Technicians, were engaged for the exercise.

He confirmed that over 40 minor surgeries were carried out and over 500 medical consultations were conducted.

Some beneficiaries interviewed Yakubu Umar, James Ishaku, Salma Abubakar and Blessing Anthony, appreciated the would be lawmaker for the gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly.

They appealed to other spirited individuals and groups to emulate the candidate who came to aid of the people at this material time.

Services rendered during the free medical care includes screening of hepatitis B and C, malaria, blood pressure and other medical services.

At the end of the exercise, 520 patients were consulted and treated for their various ailments, while 47 people underwent surgeries
