Afrobeats reality show, Naija Star Search, has staged a big comeback.

For Afrobeats die-hards and those simply looking for a good show, Naija Star Search promises to elevate their mood, as they witness the birth of the next generation of music stars.

The show brings to the limelight youngsters who have got fire in their souls and a rhythm in their veins, as they get ready to unleash their star power on the world!

Season 1 was a revelation. Music fans witnessed raw talent blossom under the guidance of industry titans like Keke Ogungbe, ID Cabasa, and Asha Gangali. From the soulful ballads of Khaleed to the electrifying energy of Black Bella, each contestant brought their unique flavour to the stage, captivating audiences across Africa and beyond. 

Now, Naija Star Seach season 2 isn’t just about revisiting old glories, it’s about pushing boundaries, amplifying voices and injecting fresh fire into the Afrobeats scene. 

Music maestro, Cobhams Asuquo, lyrical genius Vector, and First Lady of Nigerian hip-hop, Sasha P, have been unveiled as judges who will guide and critique the next generation of Afrobeats stars, while Ehis is the show host.

Each judge brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, ensuring that contestants will be challenged, nurtured and pushed to their creative limits.

Cobhams Asuquo, a producer extraordinaire known for his genre-bending soundscapes and ability to spot raw talent, will provide the contestants with invaluable guidance and mentorship. His keen ear and meticulous attention to detail will ensure that every performance is polished to perfection.

Vector the Viper, a lyrical powerhouse with an unmatched flow and punch lines sharper than a samurai sword, will keep the competition spicy with his no-nonsense critiques and witty remarks.
