President Muhammadu Buhari has scored his administration high in service delivery to Nigerians, saying he is very happy with his achievements, especially during his second term in office.

The President disclosed this Monday in Kano while speaking at a reception organised in his honour by the Kano State Government during his one-day visit to the state.

Buhari recalled that while his predecessors from 1999 to 2015 produced an average of 2.1 million barrels of oil per day at a selling price of 100 dollars per barrel, the price of oil when he assured office dropped to about 30 dollars per barrel while production came down to half a million dollars per day.

The President explained that despite this hard fact,  his administration went ahead to perform very well in many critical sectors of the economy, including infrastructure.

He reiterated that Nigeria is a very great country,  but regretted that this fact is not appreciated by many Nigerians, some of whom he noted are very forgetful of good things.

Buhari insisted that life is better in Nigeria when compared to other countries pointing out that in some neighbouring countries, their citizens are preoccupied with how to get one good meal per day.
