Mrs Abosede Aloba, the mother of the late hip hop singer Ileri Oluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has appealed to the general public, including President Bola Tinubu and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, regarding an alleged plot to harm her. In a recent viral video, Mohbad’s mother expressed her concerns and mentioned the names of her former husband, Joseph Aloba, and Bukky Jesse as the masterminds behind the alleged plan to harm her, Mohbad’s wife Wunmi, and their son Liam.

In the video, Mrs Aloba detailed the threats and attacks she has been receiving, stating that she can no longer sleep or move freely due to the constant harassment. She highlighted that Bukky Jesse had posted a photo of her residence along with threatening messages, and individuals have been stalking and intruding on her privacy. Mrs Aloba pleaded for justice for her late son and sought protection from the Lagos State Government against the ongoing threats to her life and the lives of her children.

The Justice For Mohbad Movement Group (JMMG) also responded to the distressing video, expressing their concern over the alleged threats faced by Mohbad’s mother, as well as his wife and son. Ibrahim Koleosho, known as King White, the publicity secretary of JMMG, emphasised that it was unfortunate that the same group of people who had previously threatened Mohbad’s wife and son were now targeting his mother. He stated that the JMMG was committed to seeking justice for the late singer and supporting the bereaved during their difficult times.

White appealed to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the people of Nigeria to rally around Mohbad’s mother and wife to ensure their protection from the individuals who were threatening their lives. He reminded everyone that Mohbad had previously raised similar concerns, but they were not taken seriously until his untimely death under controversial circumstances. White called on law enforcement agencies to investigate the alleged threats and bring those involved to justice, emphasising that this was the only way to seek justice for the late singer and safeguard his mother and wife from potential harm.
