With over 32 years experience at Silverbird Group, one of Nigeria’s leading multimedia conglomerates with interests in real estate, radio, television and cinemas, media magnate, Guy Murray-Bruce has been appointed into the inaugural advisory council of Henkel Nigeria, an operating subsidiary of the German multinational chemical and consumer goods company, Henkel AG. As a prominent figure with extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, Guy is expected to drive performance improvement and deliver growth for Henkel Nigeria. And with his impressive background as the managing director and CEO of the Silverbird Group, Guy is expected to provide valuable insights and expertise, and leverage his vast managerial experience and knowledge to drive growth for the Nigerian subsidiary of the German giants.

Bismarck Rewane, a renowned economist, banker, and financial analyst who is the managing director and CEO of Financial Derivatives Company, a leading financial advisory firm, was also appointed to Henkel Nigeria’s inaugural advisory council. With the addition of Guy and Rewane to its advisory council, Henkel Nigeria is committed to being a leader in supporting the government, industry, and communities.

In late 2022, Guy and his brother, Ben, made headlines for signing a deal with Afreximbank, an African import-export bank led by Benedict Oramah. The deal is aimed at building West Africa’s largest recorded film and TV studio, which will be located in Nigeria’s International Commerce City, Eko Atlantic City. The sprawling 32,725-square-meter facility will include two large sound stages, a digital hub with music and broadcast studios, editing bays with multiple suites, production offices, screening rooms, and a large studio backlot for outdoor sets.
