Kylian Mbappe walked out on an interview after being asked if he will be supporting Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final.

Paris Saint-Germain crashed out of the competition on Tuesday night as Borussia Dortmund booked their place at Wembley thanks to Mats Hummels’ header in the French capital.

The Germans edged through thanks to a 2-0 aggregate win, ending Mbappe’s hopes of signing off with an overdue European success at PSG ahead of his summer exit.

The France captain will leave the club after seven years when his contract expires in July and is expected to join Real Madrid – the side he could have faced in the Champions League final in his last game for PSG. Following PSG’s defeat, Mbappe stopped to speak to journalists in the mixed zone inside the Parc de Princes.

Asked if he will be cheering on Los Blancos against Thomas Tuchel’s side, an unimpressed Mbappe rolled his eyes, before walking away from the pack.

Tuesday night’s defeat marked another lamentable failure in Europe for PSG who despite its spending over the last 11 years, having reached just one major European final – where it lost to Bayern Munich in 2020.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said post-match: ‘We are very disappointed and sad about the result,’ he told Canal Plus.
