The Local Organising Committee (LOC) has opened the media accreditation for local and international media organisations willing to cover the first WTT Contender Series in Sub-Saharan Africa taking place in Lagos, Nigeria on June 19 to 23. The WTT Contender Lagos will help the players prepare for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in France.

The LOC urged media organisations to submit the names and passport photographs of their personnel that will cover the event to [email protected] on or before June 10, 2024, as limited slots are available. The premium nature of the tournament made it mandatory for media to register to be part of the event as some of the top players in the world have been confirmed for the $80,000 prize money event taking place at the Molade Okoya-Thomas Hall of Teslim Balogun Stadium.
