The Ologudu of Ogudu, Oba Waheed Fashola, on Wednesday, commended the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Mudasiru Obasa, for his public-spirited and democratic credentials.

Fashola, in a notice on activities marking the 10th anniversary of his coronation, said the Speaker deserved honour for demonstrating such sterling qualities.

He said that Obasa, as part of the anniversary, would be conferred with the Jagunmolu of Oguduland title, on Thursday.

The traditional ruler also identified Mr. Tunde Braimoh, lawmaker representing Kosofe II at the Assembly, as another legislator demonstrating such qualities.

He said that Braimoh would be conferred with the title of Otunba Atunluse of Oguduland at the event, holding in his palace in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State.

According to him, the honour is to encourage the lawmakers and spur them to do even better.

Braimoh’s wife, Otunba Yetunde Braimoh, will also bag the title of Yeye Otunba Atunlushe of Oguduland at the event. (NAN)
