Kwara State is in mourning following the passing of Alhaji Suleiman Mora Omar, the father of Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, who represents the Kwara North Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
Alhaji Omar, aged 86, passed away on Tuesday night. He had previously served as the Secretary of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Board and held a prominent position in the state’s civil service for 35 years.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State expressed his deepest condolences to Senator Umar and his family during this difficult time. In a condolence message delivered on Wednesday, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, urged the Umar family to reflect on the life of Alhaji Omar, acknowledging his dedication to serving humanity and his unwavering commitment to noble values.
Governor AbdulRahman implored Allah, the merciful, to grant Alhaji Suleiman Omar a place in al-Jannah Firdaus, the highest level of paradise, and to guide and support his bereaved family on the righteous path.
