Passionate youths from across Lagos converged at the Lekki Conservation Centre on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, for a transformative experience at the ‘Beyond Limits’ youth empowerment forum.
Organized by real estate developer, speaker, and writer, Dare Arigbede, the event left attendees feeling empowered and motivated to pursue their dreams.
Themed ‘Beyond Limits,’ the forum offered a dynamic blend of music, talent development, games, and inspirational speeches.
Speaking about the motivation behind the event, Arigbede emphasized the importance of empowering youth with the right knowledge to become catalysts for positive change in society.
“The youths need to be empowered with the right knowledge which can make them become better persons, and contribute greatly to society, nation-building, and the world at large. We have young Nigerians excelling in all sectors, and we believe that change can begin with them. They can impact and inspire others from where they are. At the end of the day, it’s not only about them. We are creating a paradigm shift that moves them from focusing on themselves to focusing on adding value to others.”
Arigbede also called upon the government to implement policies that support the growth and development of young Nigerians.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of N100,000 cash gifts to final-year university students to support their projects or tuition.
The cash gifts aim to alleviate financial burdens and empower students to achieve their academic goals. The beneficiaries include Seide Agosu, Odofin Oreoluwa, Alabi Debora, Suleiman Samad, and Joseph Emmanuella, among others.
Music promoter, Kogbagidi, rising artist Lucid, and others graced the event with their presence.
