Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Mr Benneth Chinedum Igweh, has assured residents that the era of kidnapping and armed robbery will soon be a thing of the past. This just as the command arrested 19 suspected hoodlums along the Abuja-Abaji Expressway.

He said: “The command has mapped out strategies for operatives to start raiding hideouts of hoodlums. Recovered from the suspected kidnappers included AK47rifles pump action and the victims’ clothes.

“Operatives arrested 10 suspected armed robbers in Wuse and Nyaya. We raided the uncompleted building they were using and recovered dangerous weapons from there.
